Can I buy retatrutide legally?

As a research chemical for laboratory use, yes; as a medicine, no. Retatrutide is not approved by the FDA or the EMA and reaches patients only through Lilly trials or the expanded access program NCT07629401.

Why is the lot number the first thing we check?

Because it is the only thing that ties a certificate to the vial in your hand. In the only published analysis of retatrutide sold outside trials, three vials labelled 10 mg contained 5.13, 16.5 and 19.0 mg (DOI 10.1111/dar.70231). A purity percentage alone does not catch that.
